| THE MAKING OF MY LAST JUNKANOO COSTUME WITH THE VALLEY BOYS JUNAKOO GROUP. THE COSTUME NAME WAS CHICKCHARNEE LEGEND OF RED BAY ANDROS. The concept of the costume consist of the legendary Chickcharnee a mystical bird from Andros Island, Bahamas. The Bird is pasted in Red, Orange, Gold and Black, on top of a local thatch type hut (house). On both other Orange, Whit and Black. Two totem poles adorn the back of the costume showing the strong culture from Red Bays, Andros. At the front of the costume there is a huge Medicine Man exiting the hut! |
